^I don't know if you have played Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror and Logan's Shadow on the PSP, but R: R's controls are similar to those. I'd say they're pretty good and certainly don't ruin the game.
are the controls on resistance retribution bad? If so do they ruin the game?

not quite ruin the game, but the controls are tough, but u will get used to it. but i would recommend GOW. That game is awesome! Get both DEMOS first though! Both are not too long but fun!
I could go through god of war on psp in a day of playing it. It's a great game but, too short. Now, Resistance I seen a couple of people play it that game looks hot I'm getting it soon.
I got god of war and it ia pretty fun and addictin, and I've played that retribution demo from tha playstation store but I didn't like tha controlers or nothin so I would say god of war plua I thinkin itz cheaper.
Both are great games and I say get both eventually anyway, but I think you'll love your PSP even more playing GoW: CoO on it. The game may only be about 6-7 hours but I personally have played through it three or four times, it's that good.
Resistence all the way! Both games are good but Resistnece has great online, alot of replablity (with thing likepatches, finiding intel, if oyu ahve a PS3 the Infected mode). There is alot to do in Resistence. As for GOW you beat it in about 5-6 hours. Unless u want to replay it on a harder difficulty or keep playing the challanges you are really getting more out of your money with Resistence. Oh and the controls are good. Why not try the demo for both games?

Thats true. lol. But once you beat the game you feel empty....u beat the gmae it was good but u having nothing left. RR you have more. But that was a funny way to support GOW. lol.

First of all, before critisizing games you haven't actually played, play it.
Second of all, i give my vote to Retribution, for a long campaign, excellent story and gameplay and an amazing multiplayer.
