Thing is, both guys who produced GOW1 + 2 no longer work for Sony and, unless I'm mistaken, we still don't know who's in the driving seat for GOW3.
I wish Cory Barlog would come back to make GOW3 but I know it won't happen. I bought the special edition of GOW2 and on the making of footage he looked like he hadn't slept in months and was one coffee away from total meltdown. The pressure really got to him. A really good game was produced at the end, though. I think GOW2 is the best in the series by far. Barlog is a genius.
I'm so excited for GOW3. I can't think of any other game I want more. I have faith that Sony will find the right man for the job.
I agree with this in terms of it being possible that it will affect the game. However, GoW3 is FAR more important for Sony than GoW1 and 2 were. It's a pretty safe bet that the game will at least be as good as the first two, because Sony as a whole are not going to let the game be released if it's not, which they have really made clear this generation.
