I know this is a bit late since many of you have beaten God of War III already, but there's usually long gaps between my sessions of playing video games, especially those with a campaign like this.
Anyway, I just finished God of War III, and I was surprised at how soon the ending came. For the first two GoW games, I thought they would never end, and each of them (and do keep in mind, I am a really slow gamer) took me around 20 hours to beat. This one, however, took me a bit over 10 hours to complete. That's right, half as long as God of War II.
Did anyone else notice this? Shouldn't GoW III, as the final installment in the franchise, be the longest and most fleshed out? I had enjoyed the final boss fight, and was satisfied by the game's ending, but it seemed like it had come much too quickly, so I didn't get the full feeling of achievement as I had finishing the first two games.
What do all of you think? Was God of War III too short, or was it just as long as it needed to be as the last game in the trilogy?
