But I just don't like it...

Why cant I play with people from the States online, I can only choose between EU and Aus. This is a little retarded cos most of EU speaks a different language, and I just find owning players from the States a little fun. :? Also then I use my Blue-tooth headset it tends to send me back to the main menu of the PS3...

I didn't get MOtorstorm after hearing there were only 8 tracks. The game is mindblowing amazing but considering it runs on the high storage of a Blu-ray I'm a little puzzled why we're left with a game so small in feeling. I'm thinking it was rushed (like many other games) to market before the developers could really include all the things that make a racing game special. I'm waiting for Motorstorm 2. The basic engine is in place so all they have to add are the options and more tracks. Some sort of career mode with a story similar to NFS would be awesome.

I have this game, played it quite alot since getting the ps3 however it has gotten quite boring.

You know I'm starting to see this whole "for download" era as a big ripoff. I spend 65 bucks for a game and then have to spend another 10 in downloads to get tracks and options? I hope you guys don't buy these downloads because it's only going to get worse. Developers are going to start putting out games with the bare minimum of options and releasing the rest via download. Not cool at all.

Its up to us the consumers to prevent this from happening. Everyone who bought STUPID horse armor for $3 in Oblivion should be slapped on the face. Or how about in Madden they released the retro jerseys as a separate download when every other sports game before has had them in included. This is blasphemy, This is Madness...THIS IS SPAARTAA!!!

I  hope that the developers take the time for a download or patch that enables two to four player splitscreen, bc i feel this game is sorely lacking that.  I do feel it was rushed, but the main game play is gold just a little on the thin side and i hope they provide hefty updates for a reasonable price. nothing horse armorish

I absolutely LOVE this game. I am not really missing the maps too much yet, as I play almost exclusivly online. Motorstorm online is a blast to play. They did a very good job at making thje online experience as easy and fun as possible. The only complaint I have about this game is hiow long it takes to load the cars when you are picking your ride. Sometimes the timer is almost down to zero before the car even loads up for you to pick.

The downloads may actually be free you know ;).... why dont you wait until an official announcement before ranting heh

Q. im thinkin bout buyin it today.. but, how does it compare to the demo? are the maps better or just different from the one they put on the demo, and what makes it more exciting online rather than against the AI? I wanna get it but im scared of wasting 60bucks because everyone says the lack of depth.... the demo is pretty fun, but i would need more in order to buy it.. worth it??

after you play for awhile and get up there in the Levles the AI becomes really cheap! online is just fun i dont know its just a mad house. even the best player can still screw up and loose.

I think I was to quick in my views. Ya it might be a little thin on the ground and in need of a few more tracks and game-mods. But that said its been a blast these last few hours online, not really a big fan of racers but this one I really like. But as always I having issues with the game. When I turn on my Blu-Tooth it quick's me out of the game and back to the PS3 menu. :evil:

The PAL PS3 only supports PAL at 50 Hz out of the box for standard and high def.  The NTSC console on the other hand supports NTSC at 60 Hz.  The difference in timings can make it hard to get games to play properly.  Is it impossible though? No - look at the 360.  The best fix though would be for Sony to wake up to modern technology and actually support PAL 60; which is PAL colours at 60 Hz.  The Wii and the 360 support PAL hell going back to the last gen so did the PAL Xbox.

Unfortunately it looks like the PS3 is going to be another PS2 and only support PAL 60 if developers enable it in game.  SHAME!

Well according to one article if you've already be playing online then you'll be getting time trial for free. I'm not sure if we will get eliminator for free though.

Very true. If they're free then I'll applaud Sony for giving it's customers what they should've got the first time around. If they charge something crazy for like one track (say 7 bucks) then it's a rip.

I've been debating whether to get this game or Virtua Tennis 3.  Even though I'm not a huge tennis fan, I am a fan of the sport and even though the lack of online is disappointing, the game still is very appealing.  I enjoyed the demo for motorstorm but I'm just not a fan of racing games and I know I won't play the game that long.  So I'm picking up VT3 very soon.

First of MotorStorm runs in PAL 60Hz on my TV, as for new tracks think there going to release 1 new track. Well new would be wrong way of putting it reverse is more like it. That right putting an old track in reverse, and your going to have to pay for it. O and there’s a few game mod in there two…

I just tried joining a few random rooms and there seem to be people from everywhere.  I did notice people from both Japan and the US.
