GOTY? whats your call?

Given everything you've seen on the internet and magazines thus far, if you could make an early game of the year call for all the titles coming out through the end of the year what game, or games, do you think will receive Game of the Year and what makes you think so?

Personally, I would like to see MGS4 get it. I liked how it tied all the loose points together, I actually understand MGS2 now:)

My heart tells me MGS4 should get it, but i think too many people played and enjoyed GTA IV, so my head tells me that will win, despite not being a patch on MGS.Spankyqwerty

Based on what I've seen (even if it's not out yet) I think GotY is between MGS4, LBP and R2... I'm leaning towards R2 though, that game looks pretty sick and MGS4 is great and all, but it's NOT perfect as people wants to believe.GreenGoblin2099

MGS4 is the only game that can be considered perfect for this year, R2 doesn't even come close, its worlds apart from the greatness of MGS4.

I am going against the grain and going with R2

It by far has the most content with a single player campaign, multiplayer campaign, and your standard run of the mill Multiplayer Online.

You0re entitled to your own opinion, and so am I... I won't arguee why MGS4 is not perfect because people overlooks all it's flaws, so what's to do??
