I'm leaning towards R2 though, that game looks pretty sick and MGS4 is great and all, but it's NOT perfect as people wants to believe.GreenGoblin2099
MGS4 is the only game that can be considered perfect for this year, R2 doesn't even come close, its worlds apart from the greatness of MGS4.
You0re entitled to your own opinion, and so am I... I won't arguee why MGS4 is not perfect because people overlooks all it's flaws, so what's to do??
I wasn't even in the intent to argue, but learn to keep your "opinions" an opinion because you almost sounded as if its a fact that people are blinded by its flaws.
In your most truthful opinion, you really think there's something such as a perfect game?? even Kojima said he wasn't completely happy about the results.
Of course there is, I've play many games that i considered to be perfect, A Link to The Past,Super Mario World, Orcarina of Time, MGS 1, 2, 3. RE2, Goldeneye 007, and the list can go on. Now the games I've played I cosider perfect are games that I thought were perfect for its time. So in this case, MGS4 is perfect at this time we live in. if no game was perfect when done, then EVERY game site/ magazine company would have to change their rating system (example: GS: 1-9.9 1= HORRIBLE 9.9 = VERY GOOD)
Perfect refers to something that doesn't have flaws... you probably don't see them and that's overlloking them. But overlooking those flaws doesn't make those games perfect as a fact, just in your opinion.
Thanx for making this easy.
Or maybe you're just lookin too hard for any "flaws" and then state it as if its a fact when in the end its only your opinion.
Thank you for makin this so easy.
Nope, pal.. It wasn't just me.
The moment you hear someone saying: MGS4 scenes were too long and they bored me. That's a flaw right there, a truly perfect game won't have ANY flaws, not for me , not for you not for anybody.
And you're the one making this easy, because you just stated that the game is perfect in your opinion, so please... how was that again??
oh yeah:
learn to keep your "opinions" an opinion because you almost sounded as if its a fact WR_Platinum
Again, thanks you for making this easy.
So you consider when someone says that "the cutscenes were too long" makes that a flaw and a fact?
Nice try, but again the sentence you just quoted me goes back to you.
Thank you for makin it too easy... again.
Nope, not the "too long bit"... but conveniently you deleted "and they bored me". So yeah, boring = a flaw. And for your record, it wasn't me who said this, many people said it. And again, as long as a game has the tiniest flaw, it means it's not perfect. Perfect = no flaws.
And as it seems you're lacking convincing arguments I'll just end this senseless discussion with this:
NO GAME IS PERFECT... FACT!!!
I deleted something? what a joke.... Of course I seen many people who say the cutscenes are way too long, they see this as a flaw. Thats fine, but that does not make it a fact. Many non MGS fans are usually the ones who say that the cutscenes are too long, while most MGS fans would say that the cutscenes are fine and/or they are not really long.
You say I lack convincing arguments when you continue to struggle to say that "no game is perfect" as a fact (with no solid points), but rather as an opinion.
