Thanks to your feedback, we are excited to announce the God of War Collection for this Holiday Season. Now fans and newcomers to the series can experience the epic journey of GOW and GOW2 in 720p HD form. Both titles have been remastered with anti-aliased graphics, running at 60 frames per second for a smooth gameplay experience, only on the PS3 system. Additionally, the Blu-ray Disc compilation will bring the PlayStation Network (PSN) trophy support to the franchise for the very first time.

It's not GOW 3 SE, its the GOW Collection containing GOW1 and 2. The 3rd one is not in there. Just to clear things upMacri

so even though its on blu ray and all this other stuff, are they emulating the ps2 to run it on ps3 or is this still going to require bc? i'm assuming they're going to emulate it so they're not limiting their market.

Nobody has got into the technicals yet, but I'm guessing the game will be recompiled for the PS3 and not emulated. If they have emulation worked out, I would hope they would offer an official emulator and not just re-release games, forcing us to repurchase what we already own. That being said, I already have 1 and 2 but will still be buying this for the updated graphics, the trophies not so much.

Sickening! I cant wait to get this...I never played them, but bought GOW for PSP and LOVEEDD it. I always wanted to go back and try them but I dont have BC in my PS3. Im sooo getting this.

Damn the PS3 started out slow but man has it picked up...same with PSP. Good times for us SONY people.
