GOW3 Frustration- Slight spoiler

Is it just me or does this game piss people off? especially when your fighting the bosses...i die numerous damn times and this game is just starting to piss me off..Thank god I didnt buy it and borrow it. Like fighting poseidon on gaia's damn head. His lightning **** the hell do you dodge crap like that???! wtf???

the bosses are the best part of the game imo. it seems like this just isnt the kind of game for you

It was an awesome game. What difficulty are you playing it on? Play it on an easier difficulty to enjoy the game and then return to play it on a harder one to collect any thing else you might want.

Only one part of the game frustrated me, otherwise it was pretty decent.

dont give up. just learn the different patterns of each boss. its really rewarding once you beat them.

uhm, there's something called trial and error. i, for one, played on Titan and i died about 100+ times in my entire 14-hour playthrough. lol if you think Poseidon is rough, wait for the later bosses. i actually found Poseidon to be quite easy.

hint: remember to block when he punches. if he were to bring his trident down Gaia's hand, dodge it. he has two kinds of lightning attacks. one with like a 3-hit combo, and another one where he would just electrify the ground for 4 seconds or so. for the first lightning attack, dodge/roll 3 times backwards (or to the back). for the 2nd lightning attack, roll/dodge to the back as fast as possible. for the punches, just block them. or better yet, parry them.

just observe attack patterns. it gets easier once you know what attacks he'll throw.

personally gow was the best game i ever played in my life.....

yeah i think thats my other problem...i never played gow1 and gow2 I just watched all the cutscences from youtube to understand the whole story...but I FINALLY beat poseidon after noticing patterns..but my GOD it pissed me off...I am playing on normal...im still eager to beat it though...just the pissing off part kinda gets to me sometimes lol

being this is your first experience with the gow franchise maybe you should play it on easy. honestly the bosses are only going to get harder and frustrate you more as the game goes on.

I probably died a good 50ish times on that battle my first play through on titan lol. Was nice to get past it though once I did.

The bit i got stuck on for ages was one of the flying/falling scenes where you fall to go cut the chain. I just couldn't seem to dodge anything. Took me like 30mins for a2 minute sequence

I played though on normal, I had no problem. I played though on hard and the only frustrating part was right before the end boss where you had to fight that huge 3 headed dog that spits out little exploding dogs, I almost gave up after about a total of about 2 hours there (not at one time), but I finally got it.

What I find very frustrating is the "Simply Smash" mode in challenge of olmpions (I know, spelling). I swear my chains go right though alot of the pots:evil:

I'm going through on normal, just got to the labarynth. I agree that the boss battles are the best part of this game, Hades is a great battle. Still more to come, should be good.
