Yeah. We looked at "footage" from "Gran Turismo 4" for four years before it finally came out. Not holdin' my breath.

It looks amazing. Especially considering it runs at 60 FPS and it has 800 cars and 30 tracks crammed into it. I wonder how 1.8 gigs were enough for this bad boy...

After watching the Sony press-con, I'm sort of into the idea of Polyphony getting their game together by October... it seems logical to support the new piece of hardware (which looks nice and all, but there's still no protection for the screen, to be able to "just put it in your pocket"), but we'll see... and again, no online? Look, good people of Japan, we here in the West don't have ad-hoc parties... I wish we were more social, but we're just not...

... which, y'know, I'm sure most people can understand...

... would YOU want to be in a room with four Americans? For ANY reason?

We need us that ol' Ifrastructure mode here. I do look forward to the future of the series, it's interesting that they have managed to include the NASCAR license in the game, we'll see how they truncate that to fit ("Race Driver" has done it with limited success for years)... they have the COT ("Car of Today") body style and the over-all look of the stock cars and tracks looks nice... I'm frankly AMAZED that EA Sports has let it that far out from under their monopolistic thumb.

Bring it. I will buy. That's even a game that I would pre-sale plunk down my money.

Does anyone know if the cars will at least take damage? I like having the game show me how bad I am at driving.
