they should pick one of three san andreas cities and just make a whole game around that. I'm think Las Venturas or Los Santos. They could really flesh out the city more and the game would be more focussed.

In Las Venturas the game should feel like Vice City during the day, and Vegas from CSI at night.

I must say that I really like the idea of detroit. The city lends itself well to gta because of the well known problems the city has had to deal with. Losing jobs to Mexico, and arguably a failure of capitalism, and that whole "roger and me" flint michigan attitude: an extreme optimism that died and is rotting. It could be amazing. (bear in mind I'm exaggerating detroit, but that's what gta does)

Chicago? No. It would be boring. It wouldn't be set in the 1920s so I really dont see the point at all. The game would probably feel like liberty city stories.

you guys have to remember one thing thats important, there must always be a major aspect of the city that totally sets it apart from the previous city. miami is much different than new york, and the three cities in san andreas are much different from eachother and the previous two games. now places like DC might work - but come on, you aint breakin in the white house anytime soon. and since these are games made for mainly the american audience i doubt youll be seeing any game taking place in a foreign country. i could see a place like philly- but then again its too much like new york in many ways. yeah- i think they've already picked enough of the cities to choose from. i doubt we will ever see anything besides los santos, san fernando, las ventures, liberty city, and vice city. theres no reason for them to introduce anything new now. they have five of some of the most distinct cities in america.

id still would like to see philly though, and thats only because i live their. but lately hollywood has been in love with this city and well as tv, so thats cool enough for me.

Although it would be a long stretch from what GTA has done so far.

I would Like to see a GTA game set in the distant future. GTA Space Colony.

If I had to be more realistic and pic an actual city, my vote would go to Tokyo, or Paris.

A futuristic GTA would be pretty cool, but then you would go into the whole sci fi area where alot of the people that do play GTA might be turned off by it. But hey if im wrong let me know.

i wish they make one scaling a continent,but something like that can only be done on the ps3

I think it should be in South America or Mexico. Why? Because, those places have cool jungles, mountains, deserts and cities. The modern day city setting is just too boring now, all it is are is tall buildings and roads......

It could also be set in the future :D (Crackdown anyone?)

first guy, it will not be any of the city's you mentioned, technically there is alot of things they have too liscense if they make a new city my guess is that they will milk the 3 cities they untill they get old and the new liberty city doesnt feel old at all. I think there going back to vice city next. Rockstar had some regrets after GTA vice city was done they had some minor regrets thats why they pumped san adreas with more steroids than barry bonds. There probably going to do san andreas this generation after the revamped vice city but again i highly doubt that they will make a new city this generation Qual37
