Their attention to detail is absolutely stunning. I was a little worried because of the jaggies in GT:HD, but I think they know what they're doing now.

lol not bad, not bad at all the racing games are looking better and better this generation....

oh and it does look better than forza, actually id have to say GTHD is the best looking racing game ive ever seen.

though i havnt played forza, I do have a 360 elite, just for some reason have no urge to play forza....

but once i get my ps3 ill definately have to play this, does anyone know by chance if their are any Lamborghini cars in GTHD

Try comparing Forza 2 to a game that's actually out instead of comparing to screen shots of something that's not even game play. Those are nice pictures but we all know it's not game play and most likely won't look that good once the game is released. kingtito

you do have a good point although the part about it not being gameplay we dont know for sure if it is or it isnt,but the fact that it is comming out later than forza does matter, but out of all the racing games out i think forza is the winner on graphics, but just like you said we will have to wait and see when GThd comes out, though i think with the extra time spent on it, and the later date becaus time in the technology world is much faster/shorter than time in the real world so keep that in mind people. but i think GTHD will definately be better, grand tourismo always had that certian little something about it/

I think GTHD looks significantly worse than what I've seen of GT5. Have you noticed the aliasing on the cars in-game? It's great looking otherwise, though... goddang next gen graphical standards are going to be the death of me.

GT5 Prologue is supposedly coming out this fall. Thats what that trailer sony showed was and the pictures you see are from. Those are all in engine, they arent CG renders. They are like replays and everyone knows that replays are the same as gameplay with GT. As for forza being the best graphicslly? Ya right!! GTHD crushes forza in graphics

IGN was right about forza not having soul. it could have amazing physics, damage modelling, car customization... but the effort and passion you can see developers put in their games just isnt there... making it inferior to GT.

MGS, SoTC, Legend of Zelda, Oblivion, GT, Half Life.... All these games show evident signs of developers working hard to make a good game, not a game that will sell millions and score big bucks for them. Polyphony won't give us a decent product until they believe it is up to their standards. And believe me, their standards are the highest in any company in the gaming industry.

No, I have an HD TV (Sony 40V2500). What I don't have is a 360 and Forza 2. And, in 1080p, GT has aliasing on all the panel edges on the vehicles in motion.
