Graphics: Uncharted 2 vs. Crysis

Crysis has finally met it's match.

I just finished playing through Borneo in Uncharted 2 and I couldn't help but compare the scenery to Crysis, and as far as I'm concerned, Uncharted 2 absolutely blows Crysis out of the water. The level of detail in every square inch of the game is unbelievable! I can only imagine how hard the guys at Naughty Dog had to work to achieve this.

There have been plenty of games with graphics that compete with Crysis, such as MGS4, Dead Space, Killzone 2, etc., but none have completely obliterated it like Uncharted 2 has. The production quality of this game is higher than many hollywood blockbusters.

IMO, Killzone 2 is probably second to U2...

P.S. -- I don't really consider Crysis' graphics to be all that great but it's what many consider the be the high-water mark of graphics. I think many of the PS3 titles I mentioned above are actually a lot better looking than Crysis. I guess it's because of all the leaves... ?

wow u are retarded...u have most liekly never played crysis, to think ps3/360/any generation console can measure up to a PC....these thread make me shake my head...fanboys sometimes

Ummm, I'm sorry. Crysis, especially when it has been outfitted with a mod or two, is leaps and bounds ahead of Uncharted 2, visually speaking. And out of the games you listed as competition for Crysis, none of them compare except Killzone 2, and even it doesn't surpass it.

Too bad the first portion of Crysis was quite boring. :|

But IMO I think Uncharted 2 is the best looking game ive ever played because it is so damn colorful :) next would be Bioshock.

Its all a matter of opinion, sure Killzone 2 is more graphicly advanced then Uncharted 2 but it is not colorful so Uncharted wins hands down compared to that black and white game :).

Crysis blows uncharted 2 out of the water. No ps3 game will match Crysis except maybe Crysis 2.

I haven't played either and based on screen shots alone i can tell Crysis is better, but keep believing what you want to, even if it's wrong.

Why is it so important to determine what game has the best graphics? Can't we just like the games for what they are and look like respectively?
