Greatest Character of All Time (So Far)

No disrespect to all that put Big Boss or Solid Snake but their roles and identities were too tricky. Dante didn't hit the board til page 5 as with Sackboy and Ryu Hayabusa. Surprised Lara Croft was not mentioned (Nate Drake has really elcipsed her) and Cloud had to be voted in it seemed. ALso this is asked on a PS3 thread so it should come from the Playstation family; meaning no Mario or Link...

Kratos just has to reign supreme.

LOL!! No. Not confusing it with Morgan Freeman. But yeah, I didn't enjoy the first Half Life so I never continued playing enough to know who Gordon Freeman is. Thanks for responding though. :)

Snake all the way but for all those that said big boss, technically snake and big boss are the same dude i mean solid snake is the perfect clone of big boss so yeah.. but yeah man snake is the most intriguing character to hit video game history and btw mario is hardly a character more like a thing that walks and jumps there is zero back story or anything on him and he isnt really a person so my vote has to go with Snake

This. He will always be considered the best for me. Although if you count players in FIFA as game characters, Messi would definitely be top 3.
