Green light: Is this normal?

my light is always green...

It used to be red and beeped 3 times when turning off... since buying Oblivion and Resistance it has been green and beeps once...

everything is working fine... what gives?

I don't understand the problem. I forget what light flashes when my PS3 turns off anyways.

Doesn't the light mean that you have a disk inside the system?

when u turn off the ps3 the green light flashes, until the red light shows up which means it is on stand by.

when you put in a disk since the ps3 games are blu-ray the blue light flashes, the blue light is next to the green one.

my green light is always on.

My blue one varies depending if there's a disk or not inside

It depends on which green light your talking about. The one that is close to the USB ports is the on the indicates the network is connected. The one next to the disc drive indicates the console is on and the blue one beside it indicates there is a disc in the drive. The red light light beside the disc drive means it's on stand-by. The yellow light close the the USB ports is the HDD indicator. Maybe this will be of some help on which light is on.

while ure playing with the disk inside the blue and green lights are on and not flashing. when ure ps3 is off there should only be a red light, it shouldnt always stay green

lol that happend to me onces, it means it's not off. the standby posses didnt work because something was still slightly loading or something, so just keep your TV on after your finnished playing to make sure its off :)

When it's off it should be red. When it's on it's green. And when there is a disc inside it's blue and green.
