Sweet, very fast download. To the guy above you need to create a master account and set your region to Japan. This link will help. It was the first hit on Google when I searched for "setting up japanese account on ps3". How's that for a big hint? That's right even you can use a search engine...

GT5 Prologue isnt really a demo, GT5 is so far away that its content, engine and specs can radicaly change. Were talking a year away, thats more time than it takes EA to make a Madden (and it shows :) ). So dont go thinking wow, GT5 is awesome becuase in 1 years time it may look a whole lot more...umm, awesome-er? Just dont get carried away with this, as it isnt an example of GT5, but of GT5 Prologue.

I am downloading now. Now if i read the japan language correclty. Once installed the demo takes 4.5gb of space on the hard drive.

DOWNLAOD UPDATE - 72% in 25mins. But the speed is slowing compared to start of download. Might be due to the number of people downloading the game now.

yes.

-graphics: very good. some crawling seem-lines but very few jaggies. suroundings... well,it's one track.. and not much going on, so hard to say, but i think it's a safe bet that the surroundings in PGR4 look better.

-Controls/handling: luckely much better than GT:HD. far more responsive and even realistic.

-sound: the horrible screetching sound of the tires is still constantly there unfortunately .

I really feel the need for rumble or froce feedback wheel, cause you miss some real feel of power in the cars (dirt does that great).

I know there will be no damage, but it really feels weird to SLAM into a wall, and just bounce of like it's a plastic box...

all in all, i still think Need for Speed pro streetracing and burnout will be more fun, but this is a sim ofcourse.. And to become a real sim, it needs a lot of work to compete with games like Forza2 (though the cars look WAY better)

The game is a mixture of english and japanese. But it has the features that GT games has like the music and also no damage and also no skid marks.

As that itisa demo not all of the cars have interior views. But overall a solid looking game. Now there are some not so good visual like the tire wall the top of it loks like a photo squashed to fit theshape of a straight wall. And to me it is not visually stunning as the videos have shown but this is proberbly a quite old buidsothe game when it comes out shouldhave the graphics just fine. But even saying that the game isstill stunning on my 50" 1080p tv. Itdrops you into the driving seat. Especiallyin the in car view.

There is only one mode that is 16 car race. Then you unlock cars by winning races and going to the garage to see your car collection. But most of the cars or already unlocked. Thenews item is working but itnot inenglish so i do not understand.

I have only played this game for like 10 mins and overall i am impressed with this game.

Ok my impressions

Graphics: im using my pc monitor as im at uni which makes all my games look like crap so i wont comment. Oh but but the frame rate is ROCK SOLID. Soooo smooth, cant wait to see this on an HD

Handling: This the best driving engine ever made... period. The cars feel like they are real heavy solid objects. Much better than GT:HD. Unfortunatly that sense of speed isnt really there, though generally increasing the speed of a game is one of the last things they do ( go play an early burnout 3 demo, no where near as fast as the final game). Oh plus having 16 cars on track is fun ^ ^

AI: Same dumbass onrails AI, they seemed to go off track more but they seem so lifeless compared to games like forza and PGR

In Car View. My biggest supprise, the in car view actually works really really well, usually cockpit views just seem like a novelty which you would never seriously play with but I actually found racing in that view really easy and helps to sort of immerse you in the racing. The only downside is, is that you cant look around, thus you bang into the sides of cars a lot.

Sounds: Erm yeah basically the same as all the other GT, including that horrid tyre screeching T_T

Finally: Right yeah, this is a demo of a demo of a full game. It shows a lot of promise, a LOT more than GT:HD did. Just hope they do actually keep to there promise and give the game decent AI as they said they would in GT4. (oh and had anyone figured out how to unlock the locked cars?)
