Branched out, exclusives don't matter. All it is doing is making the game company make 2x the cash which should lead to an even better game the next time around. When an exclusive goes to other consoles, then that should make everybody happy. But that doesn't happen.
Exclusive for quality. It's better for us.... I don't care if they make an extra buck. GTA isn't too bad going multiplat. But hardcore games like DMC4 should not be put on other consoles... it degrades quality and that's the only reason to buy it.
exclusive. i think MS paid Rockstar to make it in liberty city so that lemmings can say blu-ray does not matter. However if it was exclusive to PS3 then we would have had a beefed up version of San Andreas, but we have to slow down because DVD 9s cant handle San Andreas 2. If i am unable to find any of my friends houses in brooklyn i will be mad because i kno that would have been possible on blu-ray.
GTA exclusive to the PS3 would have been so awesome. The developers could have taken full advantage of the PS3's unique features. The blueray would have allowed more content, more voice work, cutscenes, branching dialogue, multiple storylines, ect. The developers could have developed with the standard harddrive in mind, so it could cash data and ease up the streaming of data (if that technique applies, I'm not sure)
Basically, I believe the 360 is going to drag the PS3 version down. Just my opinion.
Games should only be exclusive. I believe in the guy who is making Ninja Gaiden Sigma. In a nutshell he believes in making a game that is compelling enough to make people buy the system to play his game. He doesn't make an excuse to say "oh this system isn't enough to make money".Â
Well, since you asked this question in a PS3 forum, of course most people will say exclusive including me. A clearly biased question on a biased board.
i thought ps3 games that are claiming to be over 9 gigs are simply not compressed or not compressed to the maxium. are there any games that are truely over 9gigs fully compressed? i didnt even think they were close except games with a ton of cgi cutscenes.
It really doesn't matter more people should be able to play gta4 on day one anyways. I gave up on the thought of third party exclusives a long time ago

Ummm lets consider the fact the PS3 has no fan base due to its horrible sales... Ya thats the reason why PS3 lost 80 % of its exclusives to xbox 360, and don't be surprised to see MGS on 360 or GTA exclusive.

When the ps3 picks up speed and has sold WAY more than 360 then gta will be exclusive again xDlennon07
PS3 is never going to outsell the 360... PS3 sales in north america are selling slower then xbox 1..... Hundreds just sitting on shelves. Oh and from compressed to non compressed the visual difference is 1 % thus to have blu ray for a 1 % visual difference is just stupid. Sony stuck blu ray player to try to jump start blu ray and thats all, not for the games just for them to try to introduce a media and have one suceed for once.
