Well in response to Devil May Cry going multiplatform, Capcom said it was so the most people can enjoy the game, now if they follow through to their words, this should happen with all there games. The sequel should then be on the ps3.

well if we also follow the words "Lost Planet and Dead Rising to be 360 exclusives" then we can't be too sure cuz LP is on PC now...they don't keep true to thier words
I don't blame you.. Dead Rising is an AMAZING game. I play it all the time on my friend's 360.. if only it had a better save system and a co-op mode, I would consider it better than Gears. I can only pray Capcom wises up and brings the sequel to PS3 as well unless, of course, M$ shovels some more cash under the table their way. Who knows?

that was a few days ago...he he, now ive changed my mind, believe me if the game just didnt had SO many RETARDED things going on that literally RUIN it, I would let it pass as a zombie fan, but I feel even more "offended" that thegame is ruined by such stupid stuff that makes you wonder what the HELL were the devs thinking
my cousin rented it from blockbuster at the beggining of the summer along with some other games on 360,ps3, and wii and it was pretty fun, but we finished it first out of all of the games we rented.(but still one of my favorites out of the bunch) i'd say it was good for a rental but not a buy unless you like killing zombies that much. 8/10 imo
You really shoudnt sweat it. Its fun for about a day, maybe 2 and then all the design flaws jump out and smack you in the face. You have this mall with all these different objects to use as weapons, but then you find out most of the objects are basically clones of others andits the same weaponwith a different skin. Not that wading through a sea of zombies isnt fun, but it gets old fast. The overall pacing is awful to and the game is so flawed you will find yourself having to complete the same mission over and over simply because there is no proper setup for checkpoints or saves.
My advice. Find a friend with a 360. Rent the game. Find the motorcycle and race car. Run over hundreds of zombies in the multilevel parking lot. Congratulations you just played the only part of the game that is awesome. Even the lawn mower isnt as cool as you would think.

Understandable. Its all opinion on whether you like it or not, but everything else I said was factual. All the objects for the most part are clones of each other and the checkpoint/save system is all but completely broken. You can hear it from me or read the reviews for yourself. Its not an awful game, but its not worth buying a console for either. I was just trying to ease the TCs longing for the game by letting him/her know how it plays considering its not coming to PS3.

sorry but its NOT that great. i rented it on 360... played it for a day then returned it. i didnt like it. while this is a matter of preference i suppose, it's hard to deny that the games appeal doesnt last long.
It seems like they laid down the basis for what would've been great and then said screw it this is good enough. Within the somewhat realistic environment they created and massive hordes of zombies they coudve worked out the scenarios in interesting ways that would result in not such a repetitive feel. I know its my third time saying it, but I don't see how they dropped the ball so hard on pacing and checkpoints. I have all faith that a sequel could be amazing but only time will tell.
Meh, I'd like to play Dead Rising myself, but it seems that many companies are willing to sell out to Microsoft's deep pockets. Way to kill the industry Bill...

I'm not really suprised personally. I knew it'd be just a mindless type of game cause yeah, it would be a fun "rent for a week" or something. To me it just looks fun to play, but nothing I'd really go out of my way over..
Dead Rising is prettty terrible. I didn't enjoy that the movement was like trying to control a retarded dog on a leash. Slow and you don't know where the player was going to go. I'm really bitter at 360 right now and want to dump it...bad.
Have you played that game? I had the demo when I owned a 360 and that game seriously sucks. The graphics blow and sure it's a little fun at first but you know the whole game is set in a mall with you killing zombies over and over and over and over and over. I thought it looked really fun too until I played it for 20 minutes...

While I can see how this game looks appealing, trust me there is more to it than just mindless zombie killing fun. Time limits, useless saving system, playing the same boring tasks over and over and over to "level up" and generally being tortured by horrible game mechanics which completely ruined the game for me. It's not that it's hard, but the design is so horrible that it just sucked all the life out of that game for me. I don't understand why someone would make a pretty good game like that one and then take it all away by making the story and design so bad it's not even fun.
You dont want dead rising its just the same all the way through no auto saves eitha you have to go back on your self to save, ps3 has so much more to offer than a 360 game

Honestly, I had it for the 360 and I thought it stunk bad. I would hope that they wouldn't release it on the PS3 and come up with a better game.
If you really want it so desperately as you say, go buy a Xbox 360 for it. Then you can play all Xbox 360 exclusive games as a bonus, so you get the best from two worlds. It´s a win-win situation.

I can't believe people really want this game. It looks so boring-mash on attack button, mash on attack button. And then at the same time people are down on Lair for being "repetitive". I don't get you people!
You know there is always a possibility. I mean with it's new attitude on exclusive games i.e there should be none as they want to get the product to as many people as possile it's not entirely impossible. Furthermore, with this price drop,ps3's are selling fast, which will grow the fanbase which will encourage capcom to port certain "exclusives".
