I have 7 games and some downloadable content like War Hawk, Tekken 6, etc. I have a 60 gig PS3, take a look:
I have no pictures, videos, or music on my hard-drive. Does this look right to you guys?

No it does not. I have Call of Duty 4, Oblivion GOTY, Devil May Cry 4, Guitar Hero 3, Resistance, Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted, Warhawk. I also have the GT, Kane and Lynch, and Blast Factor demos. And I have tons of PS1/PS2 saves, and I have 27GB free space, and I have 60 gig too.
Edit: Nevermind I didn't read about the downloadable part. I have no idea how much space they take.
You must have a lot of videos on your hard-drive. ;)
I have like 45GB or so free on my 60GB PS3. I would have a lot more, but I have like 20 videos on my console. :)
Every MGS 4 trailer, movie trailers, other game trailers, etc. :D
God I love my PS3
Also, they make it real easy to upgrade your hard-drive to a larger size. You just pop that ***** in and voila! Unfortunately I don't think you can back up your data and transfer it to the new hard-drive. It may be possible if you have a PC with 2 empty SATA slots...

You can back up your game saves, but not your profile (I don't think so anyways). I'll tell you that there is no point in backing up your saves if you plan to delete them for space because saves hardly take any, unless you have a lot.
I would try going into Game/Game Data Utility and checking what games are putting the biggest caches on your hard drive (Triangle, Information). Not sure, but I think UT3 caches a huge chunk so that it doesn't have to constantly load new maps of the slow BD-ROM. If you find you're not playing some of the games quite as much anymore you can probably delete the cache for now, it will just have to copy everything over again when you go to play it again.
