Ubisoft seemed to hint that. But I don't think they officially announced that it WASN'T coming to North America, they might never "confirm" anything in the negative. Just that it was announced for Europe. If there's enough demand it might eventually come over to the US. BTW if you are going to "hunt down" the PS2 versions, you might as well import the European PS3 collection when it comes out. If you are on an HDTV to my knowledge it should be perfectly compatible with all PS3's even in other regions. I'm not in a hurry, but if enough time goes by and it's never announced for US I will probably look to import it myself. With these collections it really just depends on how good of a job they do. I sounds good in theory, but only if it's a nicely improved package. If it's hastily put together than I'll pass.

It's coming to EU now. NA, that's something you have to wait. However.... PS3 is region free, so just import it. Even though it's gonna be a bit more expensive than usual, who cares, you are freaking getting 3 of the best action-adventure platforming games of last generation that are still extremely fun to play. (or at least Sands of Time is, minus the combat)

all ps3 games work no matter what region your system is from, i have a european ps3 and i play north american games. the HDTV only matter when you are trying to use say a european ps3 on a north american TV, cvause not all tv's can use devices from different regions. i had to get HDMI cables to play my PAL ps3 on my NTSC hdtv.

so ya you could just import the game if you need to.

its not completly region free, DVDS do not work on your system if they are from a different region. and im not sure about PSN downloads.

Yes, but Prince of Persia collection won't be on DVD, and I don't think it's on PSN either....

I'm guessing it would be, there's a reason they call it "remastering"....

Ubisoft is based in Europe. Besides it's not cheap or worth it to sell a product in a different region if you're hesitant about the demand of the product.
