I can't decide whether or not to get a psp. They look really cool. I have a ps3 and I don't travel too much, but live in a house with 5 roomates so I thought one would be nice. Should I consider buying one, I mean are the games good enough or should I just stick with the ps3 and forget about psp?

Now it's the time. New PSPs, Cheap MS everywhere, tons of great games, and more coming out before the end of the year (Castlevania X, FFT, Disgaea, Silent Hill, etc...) Next year GoW and FF7:CC and StarOcean and many many others.

PSP has some great games out now. Tekken Dark Resurrection, Metal Gear Portable Ops, Silent Hill, Castlevania, Manhunt 2, Syphon Filter are some of the great games. God of War is coming out in a few months. The demo was great.

Well if you have to share a TV with roommates then this is ideal when you can't play your PS3. Not to sight the PS3 I very much like it but it has yet to pick up production on some great games. I'm sure that's about to change but in the meantime you can exploit the titles in the PSP library.

Yes the games are definately good enough. Disgaea, Castlevania X, Final Fantasy Tactics, and Syphon Filter. Silent Hill is going to be cool! There are plenty of other games out there that would interest you as well...

I've had a psp for about a year now and for the first7 months, it was a great. I couldn't take my hands off of it. After that I stoped using it for about 2-3 months but now, I'm addicted again with all the great games like Gta vice city and liberty city, Socom 2, Need for speed carbon and many more. Your also able to custimize the wallpaper and the Icon's, Watch full movies (all depending on your SD stick size) Listen to music and put cool picks on it. The new PSP slim is even better. I think its a great value and you should get it.

I too waited for quite awhile until deciding to get a PSP. The deciding factors were the new slim design (it just fit better in my hands) and the availability of cheap games (under $20). I have had no problem finding very good games that fit my limited budget - Madden NFL 07, Dungeon Siege, Killzone, MLB 06, Burnout Legends, Lord of the Rings Tactics, Exit, and many, many more.

I play my PSP for 30-90 minutes per day and have loved every minute of it. I would definitely recommend buying one as soon as you can.
