Don't get me wrong, the graphics are nice, but it's like they just slapped some new textures on the old engine. The way the badies respond to bullet damage is so scripted it hurts my eyes. I don't mind the slow controls as I think it adds to the "fear" factor, but it also feels like Capcom know they have a cash cow and don't see any real reason to progress the series.

Coop is quite fun when it works... ill give them that

Oh I dunno, I think it's great. I loved RE4, and I love the demo for RE5 so far. I think it'll be great.

i've played it on the ps3 and 360, and i got to say the 360 is nicer, smoother and easier to get head shot's cos the laser is clearer, if you have a mate with a 360 go around and have a try, and yeah the co-op is awesome, battleing zombies with ur mate.

on the ps3 version for some reason it did'nt give me and me mate half a screen each like on the 360 version, it kinda did a diaganal splitscreen, in stead of half a screen each.

DUDE! FIX YOUR GRAMMAR!!!

On a different note, no, I don't think Capcom has been lazy to any extent. If I were to have played a demo of RE4 before it came out, I believe I would have had the same disappointed feeling I got from RE5. I think the difference here is that you were thrown into the game without previous immersion which is why allot of people seem to be unimpressed and talk about how the game seems to lack the mood 4 had. When you get the full cohesive product in your hands, believe me, the feeling will be different. As for recycling concept and game play, how many RE's did we play before 4 that seemed to be the same thing (but each still oh so good!!)??

I did not care for the game when I played the single player demo but I tried co-op and basicly fell in love all over again. The problem is I like a strong single player game.

Considering how brilliant RE4 was, RE4 in HD with co-op is good enough :P. You guys act like you've played the whole game, who knows what kinds of surprises Capcom are going to throw at us?

Soory you feel that way, I'm enjoying it. Infact, I just finished playing the demo after two hours and 30 mins of playing co-op online with a friend. Great game.

when you have a winning formula, why tweak it and take a chance on messing it up? capcom is just playing it safe

this is just my opinion, since i played the demo theres a mixed feeling about this game and tons of questions..make me want to buy the game and find out. well hope you guys enjoy it and please enlighten me with your answer.

why does the body dissapear after you kill them? why does the gameplay not as fluid as RE4 and why is the item indicator still there (blue light), i hope if i play it on hard there wont be any indication so feel more real...all in all its a great game the only thing i dont like about the game is how they make chris stood still while aim, it feels he just stuck in a hole and can only rotate, can he be more of a soldier, able to move around a bit while aim, personally i think its more tense that way because you can search the whole house slowly and ready to fire. isnt it? i know some ppl say its help the game environment. my thought is if the developer intent to make horror game/action and real, the character you play have to react on what normal ppl would do at least...

If you think aim and walking does not make sense and dont like my opinion, i can only ask you one thing, why do you have to get the distance to kill the zombies and once they get closer to you, you run again and shoot...isnt it the same as practically real if you just aim and walking backwards and shoot???

Compared to their other efforts, I'd say they put quite a bit of effort on RE5.

Remember RE3? Dino Crisis 2? Devils May Cry 2 + 3 + 4? Street Fighter 2's other versions? Breath of Fire sequels (the only franchise I loved like an abused spouse), etc etc etc.

Do you have any idea how a game is made? If they were lazy about it they would've release the game two years ago.

HEY GUISE, I ONLY PLAYED THE DEMO, BUT I'M PRETTY SURE I CAN JUDGE RESIDENT EVIL 5 AS A WHOLE BECAUSE THAT'S HOW I ROLL, BABY! Wait until the full game comes out, play it, and THEN judge. If I base my opinions on games off of demos, then getting KZ2 wouldn't be that high on my list of things to get.

Yep, I'm getting it for co-op as well. I played the demo literally dozens of time with my brother to the point where we can telepathically communicate when we're going to cover eachother's backs so one can reload or scavenge for ammo. So much more fun with actual people.

Yea I've played the demo with a couple people .. mostly online though ..

At first I wasn't feeling it, but as soon as I did the co-op I was sold. It's better to play with someone because you can trade ammo quicker, and everyone knows what guns everyone has so ammo can be given properly ..

The animations are basically the same which is my biggest gripe. Shoot zombie in arm, he grabs it and looks at you. They are the exact same in RE4. That's one of my pet peeves in games: same animations. I LOVED Uncharted for having so many for the same thing.

It seems like everyone multiplat game is brighter on the 360 and darker on the PS3. I find it ironic that the 360 is white and the PS3 is black and PS3 is darker and 360 lighter. It is almost as if the PS3 is evil:P
