Have you ever sat down and beat a game in one day?

Just what the topic says, I was just curious, because yesterday I sat down and started playing resistance 2, which I bought when I got my PS3 but never got around to playing it. Then yesterday, I started playing through, and I beat the game, I don't know what happened, I just got sucked in and couldn't stop. Before I knew it the game was over, and I was like, wow that was a wasted day. lol.

The Call of Duty 4 campaign. Can't remember any others though.

I remember getting home from the store at 6 PM and not sleeping until 11 AM the next morning.

I was fresh off the hype train of MGS2 and 3, crazy excited to see how Kojima would conclude the saga. This was back when I thought the MGS saga would be my all-time favorite video game franchise, but now that I've beaten it, they're really just well written scripts with a bit of gameplay in between.

Nope. I dont sit down and play the campagin all day. I dedicate most of my time to Online Play. But If i played all day, I couldve beat the battlefield bad company campagin in one day. I dont like beating single player games like that. I like just holding the experience.

Call Of Duty 4..lol....the campain is sooo short!!!

Uncharted 7 hours, an enjoyable time.

Killzone 2 7 hours, a dissapointing time.

prince of persia 9 hours, a very dissapointing time.

Flower, maybe 3-4 hours(3-4 awesome hours though).

cod4 on pc, can't remeber how long it took me, i think around 8 hours, veteran mode took me alot longer.

I havent done that since MGS2. I prefer to spend 3 days to complete the singleplayer, this way I feel I got my moneys worth :PSwift_Boss_A

No, but I've always wanted to do it. Especially with some long ass RPG or something.

I just dont have the determination or the intention span to play a gay for more than four hours. ADD perhaps. :)

lol only 1 game.... Timespliters: Future Perfect... me and a buddy sat down 1 day played it all night and beat it without relizing how much time had passed..

Yup, they only game i've completed in one day was KZ2 though.

Its great when mates randomly rock up with a new game and say "Dude we have to finish this today" when you've got uni exams the next day LOL.

Most of the time when i get a new game i just can't put it down, I'm starting to learn the longer you take to finish it, the more enjoyment you get out of it.

I've also finished both Gears of war 1 & 2... i could be hear for ever but im done :)

My friend and I co-oped RE5 in 1 day on amatuer, I had started prior to this but never beat the first level so technically we played through the entire game in one day.

And I alot of other games I beat in 2-5 days because I usually don't get into a game right away but I've finished large sections of games in one day. I usually don't try to rush through though, and plus I always start out on normal or easy so i can go back to hard or higher if I can.

yes i beat lost via domus in a day. i played it the night i got it for a few hours then the next morning after breakfast i finished it.
