Have you ever sat down and beat a game in one day?

Plenty of times... last game I did it with was Uncharted. I was experiencing a trophy glitch that basically had me beating the game twice a day for a week trying to figure out why it wasn't unlocking trophies. PS... the "Charted!" trophies don't unlock if you accidentally start over from Chapter Select instead of New Game.

I never have

Back in the day, many games barely lasted an hour. But of the, let's say, a little longer games that I could beat in a day, I liked to play Max Payne 1&2 and Soldier of Fortune a lot, so I would beat them in a day. Then start them over. :)

I only did that once and that was with the original Metal Gear Solid. 8 long, beautiful hours...

I might've buy I can't remember. I could've beaten a couple games in one day. Like ME or COD4 but if I feel like I'm getting too close or want to string the experience out then I'll just wait and not play it as much or at all.

Just what the topic says, I was just curious, because yesterday I sat down and started playing resistance 2, which I bought when I got my PS3 but never got around to playing it. Then yesterday, I started playing through, and I beat the game, I don't know what happened, I just got sucked in and couldn't stop. Before I knew it the game was over, and I was like, wow that was a wasted day. lol.

COD4 and Ratchet and Clank Future: QFB in my first play. I've done RE5 and Uncharted, but after beating them previously already

I dont think i even know what the end of a game looks like. I did finsih Gears of War in co-op. I think there were a few i beat back in the 16 bit days...thats about it.

I've beaten a few games in a day: COD4, COD:WAW, Star Wars:The Force Unleashed, The Bourne Conspiracy, Stranglehold, Halo, and Halo 2

... I sat down the second I got home a quarter after midnight or so and sat around for 21 hours playing through Metal Gear Solid 4 from start to finish. I fealt pathetic afterward.. I didn't eat and rarely got up.. I was stuck on the game. And as soon as I finished with the game I watched the Blu-ray that came with it from start to finish.. I fell asleep that night listening to the soundtrack it came with.

Yeah probably could beat haze in one day if wanted (dont want to touch the game again w/o a buddy on coop). I think I beat Uncharted in a day during my second playthrough

i haven't beaten a game in a day but i have ran through a whole series in one day. when mgs4 came out i broke my ankle in a car accident so i was laid up and couldn't go any where so i started with the orignial metal gear on nes and played through to mgs4
