ok i tried to change my debit card info on psn because the old one expired but when i tried it kept telling me the card was invalid and i tried 4 times and then it locked me out and said that i had to wait 24 hours and try again but i just said the hell with it a week later i get my bank statement and i have 4 one dollar charges from psn i called sony and told them what happened and to see if i could get my 4 bucks back because why charge my card if psn says it's invalid and do you know what i get sorry we can't help you so now i'm pissed i know it's just 4 bucks but it's the principal of the matter

The dollar charges are pre-authorization charges to confirm funds are available. They'll be refunded in normal process.

That happened to me when I first put in my information. The charge thing I knew about, it was for verification purposes. But the card kept being declined and I couldn't figure out why. Finally the Sony rep told me the information needs to be entered exactly as it is registered with the card. For example, I live on a street like South Main Street. I was entering S. Main St. but it had to be completely spelled out for the card to work.

yeah it happen to me once but after 24 hours it worked just fine after that

Sony sucks for that one. Your better off buying the 20 dollar or 50 dollar cards.

I wish I could do that. Sony must not like Canada. I'm using my brother's credit card. I pay him back in cash but for the safety for his credit card, my brother said he'd want all that card info off the network "soon".

Please, Sony! Hurry up!

I try not to make a habit out of pointing out others poor grammar, but there seriously was not a single bit of punctuation in that entire paragraph. Apostrophes but no periods or commas? :o
