I used to think like that - play only 1 game at a time and finish it so you can enjoy it. Well, at least that's how the thought went.

What I found out is that in most games (except for the ones that really grab onto your soul), you're bound to hit a bump in the road when you get bored. When you're at that point, it's best to open or start a new game. That way you keep gaming fresh, and a day or week or month down the road you're gonna return to the previous game and start playing it again like new. So this is what works out for me.

You're stuck on Far Cry 2 and don't want to continue? OPEN A NEW GAME.. you've got 9 of them.
