HAWX? What else would you recommend in Air-combat type games?

I was reading about Tom Clancy's HAWX and it seems like an interesting game. I'm particularly looking for air-combat or air-simulation. Have you guys played it and recommend it?

I was wondering if there is a game that includes air combat simulation where you can play split-screen (4 players -both online and offline - offline is a must). I really like the idea of Hawx if only it had offline split screen, would be perfect. I heard Warhawk has something like that, but I don't know how good it is. I'm more into realistic jet fighters rather than funny looking ones like in warhawk (only checked it out in the demo version).

What would you guys recommend?

You sir, should migrate to the PC, where you will find such great titles as Lock On: Modern Something or Other. The most underrated combat flight simulator ever. Oh and I second the call for Ace Combat on PS3. That would be sick.

Right now for PS3 your only options for flying games are Blazing Angels 1 & 2, and HAWX..I personally would go for HAWX over BA thoughSoopaKilla

Yeah Blazing Angels was terrible... the voice acting, the zero gravity flight model... god, I do not want to relive that anytime soon.

Nope... plenty on PC though if you have a halfway decent machine.

There isn't really a big market for air-combat games on the ps3.

Get BF 1943
