Hi everyone.

I, like many of you, played and enjoyed Haze. Its wasn't what the hype told me it would be, but for what it was worth, it was a good game. The co-op in particular was a blast.

Now, I also, like many of you, saw the Cryengine 3 demos on consoles. Being a PC gamer, I own and play Crysis. Its stunning, some of the best graphics ever, hands down. The foliage in particular is amazing.

Now, last night I was playing Haze when I started to think. Free Radical is now Crytek UK. I put two and two together and became engrossed in the possibility that Haze 2 could be running on the Cryengine. Its a perfect fit for the game, espescially if it returns to the jungle setting.I really hope they make this game...

So what are your thoughts? Would you like to see a Haze 2? I would personally love to see what they can do now with Crytek's backing.

Haze wasn't THAT good. It was average, but didn't feel like a exclusive, so I bought it, completed it and sold it. A Haze 2 would not be in my collection if released.

I lol'd when I read what Hero said because that's exactly what I was thinking.

Still, the idea of a Haze on the Cryengine 3 would be fantastic.

They should make a PS2 version, then they could use graphics from the first one. :lol:

P.S I only played the demo. :P

Just about any game running on the Cryengine 3 would be worth taking a peek at, but because of Haze's low sales, i seriously doubt that they would even consider a Haze 2; but Timesplitters 4 running on the Cryengine 3 would definitely be on my to get list

I figured I would get a few of these. It really wasn't that bad, but I bought it later for $10, so that may have swayed my opion a bit ;) . The graphics were terrible, but they had something going with the story and if they just could have polished it up a bit more...

Wikipedia tells me that Timesplitters 4 will indeed be running on the Cryengine 3...

As for Haze 2, I really think it is a possibility. The Cryengine just lends itself to what they were trying to do with Haze. With the engine settled, they could polish up the other aspects of the game... it would be amazing.

I would buy Haze 2, eventually not on first day of course. I will wait a week and then the price will drop to $10 since no one is buying it. They would be better off of changing Haze 2 to something else. Any PS3 gamer who thinks of the word Haze will think of crap next

Ah, but you forget that they resurfaced as Crytek UK.Plus I was thinking it would be something like this:

Killzone->Killzone 2 as Haze-> Haze 2.

With Crytek on their side they could definitely accomplish that.

Guerilla Games is Sony backed, I doubt Crytek would want to take that big of a risk

Well not necessarily. From what I understand they just like Anthropomorphic animals. Some dress up themselves while others don't.

[QUOTE="nightshade869"]It would have to get a 9/10 or higher for me to even consider with the letdown of the first game.Unknown_Hero3

lol makes no sense...

How does that not make sense lol? If they do make Haze 2 it would have to be amazing for me to get it with how crappy the first one was.

[QUOTE="psn8214"]
