I always missed "DualShock 3" as the name of this controller.

It'd be a nice touch, honestly - "sixaxis" and "axis" in general is wearing on me.

There is a transparent Controller at 7:08, right next to the 360 controller. There is also a green ps3 controller at 4.55.

I wonder if all of these are just Dualshocks or maybe other versions of Sixaxis :o

Some of you shouldn't get so hyped over this vid.

1: If it doesn't turn out to be exclusive to the PS3, you'll wet your pants and create hundreds of threads saying "Sony let me down" .

2. The controller might just be a NEW360 controller. New meaning new shape & design.

I mean just wait until E3 comes before you guys leap for joy. Some of you get so hyped of small speculations. Just relax and let the gaming world take its course.

Clearly the game is PS3 exclusive right now. In the video there was a certain level of company stress about preparing the demo in time. That was obviously a PS3 demo. Why spread resources on another version when a deadline has to be meet?

Yeah its gotta be the rumble feature. When they talk to the first guy running the demo [with code on the screen], he sets his controller on the desk, punches in some more code while a bad guy runs past and damages him, and then has to catch or pick up the controller off the ground.

Why would he have to do that if it was a regular Sixaxis. im guessing that the baddie triggered the rumble when he ran past or shot at the tester.

And the controllers that werent blurred out during the press meetings were probably regular Six. cause they wouldnt want the press freakin out over the new controller much sooner than they are supposed to [at E3].

Lastly, they include another ad for "something interesting at E3" its gotta be the new controllers and the fact that Haze had it is beacuse Haze will be the first to use the rumble featureout ofthe Next-Gen line up...

Haze is one of the games Im looking forword to besides Killzone2...... and about the new PS3 controller, I know it'll be added rumble and new stuff, I really do hope that they make it a little bigger tho.

1. It is already stated to be multiplatform so if it doesn't go exclusive who cares.

2. In the video they are working on a Ps3 demo. So why would it be a new 360 controller, its not even that console thats getting all the speculation about a new controller in the news.

When the controller gets blurred out, the devs are speaking about coding for the ps3 and you see a ps3 console aswell.

i really hope this game will be exclusive and optimised for the PS3.. but i really don't think it is.

Yeah the boomy was said to be ergonomic and I trust Sony when they make controllers because I've loved the dual for so long, but after playing with the 360 controller and seeing how ergonomic it is it makes me wish the boomy came back becaue the dualshock design lacks ergonomics and maybe the boomy didn't look the best but it was suppose 2 feel better.

HAZE is a timed exclusive. Meaning the PS3 will be the Lead SKU for it and its going to be ported to 360 sometime next year. I hope they bring rumble back and still continue to do Six Axis with it.

However, the video wasn't released until a few days ago, as a pre-E3 hype video, and that's when they added in the bit about "A major announcement at E3..." so it could very easily have gone exclusive since then. It seems Free Radical wants it to be, even if Ubisoft does not.

Exactly. Hell, NGS sold 455,000 in it's first week. PS3 fans are desperate.

Not too mention, FR is the type of developer that builds a game entirely aroudn a specific platform. They are only developing Haze for the ps3 right now, and may port it later, and the systems to which they'd port it have yet to be decided.

Well one thing I know is that right now it might be PS3 only for a moment but later on it will be released for the Xbox 360. one the guys kinda gave away saying.....Haze will show the power of "NEXT GEN CONSOLES". Sorry guys but I love Sony to death, but let's be realistic. They will make a Xbox 360 port and right now I don't know it might be even better.
