it looks very mediocre to me.. im having a hard time seeing how people can get so excited about :(ejstruppeole are saying because its made by free radical BUT i dont even know who free radical is considering i never played timesplitters. but i see it as a game with very good graphics and great multiplayer and the excellent nectar concept.

Imagine the best parts of Rare. then you have FRD
im suprised more people are not pumped to get this game, time splitters is great!! free radical are right up there with bungie in making FPS to me, so I have high hopes for haze!!bigLLLthere have been a couple previews that have come out about the game recently that said the game is not looking so hot considering how close to release it is, I'm gonna wait and see on this one, i think there will be better shooters out there. http://ps3.ign.com/articles/831/831317p1.html?RSSwhen2007-10-31_025200&RSSid=831317
Free Radical is a respected company, not to mention Timesplitters was a good game.
There is a valid reason to anticipate Haze.

before rare got kind of bad xD...just think Goldeneye, perfect dark...some of the best FPS's ever...and they had some of the best multiplayers ever xDI've been saying for a long time that Haze is one to watch out for and I believe it will be excellent. It's too bad that Haze isn't being marketed at all because I really think it will be great. Other shooters out there get marketed to the point of becoming nauseating and it definitely helps sales, and dare I say it, I think it helps influence some reviews, which, in turn, influences sales.
It (good, relentless marketing) can make mediocre games seem like extremely good and epic games.;)
I hope Sony starts airing some of those new PS3 commercials and starts showing the games off a bit more to create hype. This will help PS3 sales as well as software sales. They also need to kick up the advertising on the Playstation Store in order to spark the interest of on the fence PS3 owners that Haze, among other games, is worth the buy.
and...if all else fails it could just be turned into a movie :) already have the actors and everythingI've been saying for a long time that Haze is one to watch out for and I believe it will be excellent. Yup, the hype machine, even though it costs lots of $$ usually pays off in the end with a higher sales volume, and yes does influence reviews and of course sales! I completely agree that Sony needs to just start advertising more, especially for just their games and just ONE game per commercial instead of a mishmash. I'd love to see a HAZE commercial, though I know I won't.
PS HAZE is going to be awesome
