HAZE timed exclusive for 7 days!?Ridiculous

After all the success of the 360, MS still has made money out of the xbox yet anyway. That $50 mil for GTA4 episodes is another stupid purchase. Downloadable content that I have to pay for anyway is not a selling point. $50 mil can be funded into 5 full next gen games instead of just DL content for one game. Sony's biggest lost is the cost of the PS3 and the lawsuits.

Take two will pay back MS if MS don`t make money of it, actually MS are guaranteed not to loose money...stupid?

Wow. You seem to be the one that doesn't understand "financial mumbo jumbo" as you call it. We call it "Economics". You see, the 360has already soldabout 10 million units and proved itself worth the effort. However, the PS3 was released a year behind the 360 and has sold less than 4 million units. Why make an exclusive for a console you're not going to make money on? If they knew that their game would be a huge console seller and wanted to see the PS3 come out on topthen, yeah, they would make an exclusive. However, if you want to make money, you deliver your product to the widest audience of people possible, which is evidenced by the Wii, which is already approaching the same amount of units sold as the 360. This time next year when the PS3 and 360 have similar sales, you'll see more exclusives because more developers will have a reason to invest in the power of the PS3.

the ps3 has sold over 5 million now. dont go by that nexgenwars crap, its not correct, they had a post on this site a long time ago about the true sales of the ps3 and it had over 4mil when nexgenwars said about 3.5mil. and recently it sold over 1 mil in the PAL regions just after 10 weeks of being on shelves.

Dont answer that. Obviously you are not...but you think you are. ITs simple math really. The 360 has NEARLY THREE TIMES the install base of the PS3, with promise to grow. If that alone doesnt answer the question for you then maybe you need to forget about the whole financial analyst thing for a while and take some refresher classes in grade school. :)

I don't think you know what you are talking about. Halo sells much more then MGS even if MGS is a better game.

I am a little disappointed as I thought Haze looked like a good game, and one that I could brag to my 360 friends about owning. Now I will have to wait a week and see which version is better. (I was hoping to add to my PS3 library, but I refuse to buy the inferior version. I still hope the PS3 one is better though)
