no. the screen is too small for HD and the processing power required would drain the battery in 20 minutes.

not a bigger processor but a more powerful processor which tends to drain batteries. also, a powerful gpu, and loads of ram. if the screen were any bigger, the battery will drain faster. why? more power needed for the backlight. the lcd screen is the most power hungery component of any portable electronic device. a more capacious battery requires it to have more "cells". more "cells" mean the battery will be larger and make the psp less portable. so in short, never going to happen in the forseeable future. maybe in 10 years or so but not any time soon.

hell yes! provided it didn't cost $500 and as long as there are good games for it. i haven't played my original psp in over a year.

To me 'portable' means it can fit in your pocket. If the screen was bigger than the whole thingwould have to be bigger, and bulkier, making it unable to fit in your pocket, or be taken places easily. Anyway it would drain the batteries, do they'd have to make a high mAh battery, which with more mAh, you get bigger size making it even bulkier.
