i just got a new 120 GB HDD and was wondering on how can you save all of my existing saved content on my old HDD and save it to my brand new 120 GB HDD.

could use a flash drive, the only things you need to worry about is your game saves and stuff of that sort the xmb is not affected by changing outthe HDD

I have always wondered why no one actually thinks of this problem before they purchase the HDD's and look the information up or ask first.  Maybe it is something that I am not supposed to understand but yes, as first post said or you could try and transfer the info to your PC and then transfer it back to the new HDD.

Transfer your saves to a flash drive. I'm pretty sure PS3 automatically formats the new drive and installs the OS from memory on the motherboard.
