HDMI cable cost

i just bought an HDMI cable on ebay and it only cost like $7 for 1.8 meters, its HDMI cable 1.3b, and i was wondering is it a ligit HDMI cable or did i just get scamed? i ask because sony and microsoft sells them for quite a bit of money and so i was just wondering did i just buy a fake HDMI cable like the whole cheap sony memory stick scam thats so common on ebay.

Most retailers just jack up the price for no reason. Like best buy will sell HDMI cables for 40 bucks when u can get them at monoprice.com for 5 bucks so i don't really know but it could be legit.

7 dollars is good, i bought mine off newegg.com for like 4 or something. anything more than 10 is a ripoff in my books
