I had a Samsung Bluetooth headset that didn't sync with the PS3, don't know why. My PS3 just wouldn't pick it up, in the end i gave up and use a normal wired one, it does the job but i will get the official PS3 one later this year.. no rush!

I own the Official PS3 Bluetooth Headset: http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=72251

However, it gives me major migrains!!! I guess my ears are weak to bluetooth headsets, the minute I turn it on, the frequency level just gives me a really bad headache during gameplay. I'll be selling mine soon for a wired Logitech.

The Bluetooth ones can be very annoying to the ear. Why can't they come out with something comfortable, do they not test their own products? This is 2010..and most Bluetooth sets work fine with the PS3. Although there will always be some incompatible.

dude before you go buy any blutooth head set look up the earforce something. its ten dollars more than the offical ps3 deal. yes it is wired but there so comfy that i play all day and never have any problems. iv played with a fewe diffrenet headsets and after an hour there hurting my ears. with it being wired you never have to make sure there charged and with this you get great in game sound through the speakers. they even have a nob so that you can raise the volume of just chat or just the game. so if you wanna hear what people are saying turn the game down and the chat up or the oppiset if someones being dumb. with that feature you can play as loud as you want and mute the tv so no ones whinning about how loud it is. best thing iv bought for my ps3. you should really look into them.

Bluetooth earpieces (they are not headsets) are garbage. You cannot effectively listen to the game while covering one year with chat...especially for those of you getting ready for mag. Full featured headsets are the way to go, my cousin swears by his Turtle Beach P21.

I recommend the new PlayStation Eye. It rocks - and it's 10 bucks cheaper. Plus you don't have any **** sticking out your ear. I've always hated bluetooth sets. They're very pretentious.
