You wouldnt go wrong with either.
the 360 probily has the better library now especially if you like shooters. the only real downfall is its reliability although the elite may have fixed those problems.(30%+ break down)
the ps3 is less than one year old so its lack of titles is understandable more are comming it realy just depends on which exclusives you want more. oh yeah and with the ps3 you dont gotta worry about it breaking down(less than 1% do)

I agree with this guy. Is a fair assessment. Another good points about the PS3, the Ps3 games are region free and you can watch Blu-ray films, if that matters to you, TC.
360: Larger library of games, cheaper price, HD-DVD add on, more streamlined online service. Cons: Hardware issues, premium price for xbox specific accessories, xbox live fee, premium price for extra storage.
PS3: Pros: Built in Blu-ray, Hardware reliability, "future proof", customizable storage and OS, SixAxis, strong software lineup for the future, wireless built in. Cons: Price, gaming library, HD cables not included, no rumble yet, BC is ever declining, SixAxis, third party exclusive/ports.
System wars wil only lose him more
Strange noone mentioned it, but the PS3 has a Blu-ray player : not only do you have access to Blu-ray movies (leader to HD DVD, amazing video and audio quality), the games can be 50Gb sized, compared to 9Gb for a X360 DVD (even if 2 or 3 DVDs for some games)
Sony is actually doing firmware updates quite regularly, adding new functualities : upscaling DVDs and PS2/PS1 games, using your PC as a media server for the PS3 ...
October is really the first "big" month for PS3 games (and good multiplatform games) : Folklore, Eye of Judgment, CLive Barker's Jericho ...
Well I'm getting another system for my Birthday and I have a Wii but I want either a PS3 or a 360.Which should I get?I don't like that u have to pay for Microsoft online service and the PS3 games aren't many good 1's so yea.DavidRswii
You'll have to keep on paying for XBL and games will coe for the PS3, so if those are your only two issues go PS3. But since you're on the PS3 forum here, I guess most people will advise you to get a PS3 instead of a 360. Makes sense doesn't it?
