I've had my PSP for a while and have been trying alot of RPG games. The only game i own is Jeanne D'arc. I'm looking for a RPG game takes about 20-40 hours to complete, with a interesting story line that wont bore me. Nothing too complicated, normal rpg not looking for a turn base rpg unless its really really good. Tried out most of the rated games on gamespot, wasnt to my liking. Know of any good imports, thats ez to understand? thanks.
Hey.. You cannot go wrong with the Final Fantasy series even though most of it is turn based rpg except for Core Crisis: Final Fantasy 7. As for the turn based FF series, there are Final Fantasy 1, Final Fantasy 2, and Final Fantasy Tactics: The Lion War. As we all know that the games I mentioned above require much more than 20 hours to complete it. Hope that was helpful. By th way, I also enjoyed God of War: Chain of Olympus and it is not exactly a rpg game but it is enjoyable.
Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth, if you can find a copy. The are things in the game that aren't well explained, but the story is interesting and the game will take you at least 20 hours, and that still leaves multiple difficulty levels, multiple endings, and other side areas.
Get Disgaea, it is a great game with hundreds of hours of gameplay, if you like leveling you character over the levels of 100, then you will love this game!!!

Well try any of the Final Fantasy games for the PSP, and try Monster Hunter Freedom 1 and 2. If you buy the Datel Wi-fi Max you can play both Monster Hunter Freedom 1 and 2 online with other people. Just youtube how to do it. It's great to be able to play any Ad-hoc PSP game online with others.
tried all the above, but they didnt catch my interest. GoW n Crisis core are coming in the mail. I'll go out and find a copy of brave story and try that out. hope its good. thanks
Disgaea is your best bet. It's another strat RPG, takes only about 30 hours to finish teh story~ more or less and it's the best psp game to date, IMO. There are stuff to do afterwards and a bonus story line.
all those classes gives me a headache in Disgaea lol. Those are what i call turn tactic rpg games. im looking for regular rpg games with the battle system like final fantasy 7 and such
Do the Disgaea games follow a game-to-game storyline or can any one be picked up and played w/o being confused? I want to pick it up after seeing this review but don't know which one to get!
The whole Final Fantasy series would be a great selection for RPG's, and also Kingdom Of Paradise takes over 20 hours to complete and is a fun game as well.
FFT is the best game on the PSP imo. Also try Puzzle Quest... a puzzle game, but an RPG as well :) I really dislike Disgaea, even tho I'm a huge JSRPG fan.
