Help me , Im about to buy a 360

Well , I really want a PS3 , but its just too expensive (600+ tax + HDMI = 700 dollars). Since the reason Im buying a next gen system is GTA IV , and its coming for both 360 and ps3 , the 360 seems affordable but it breaks a lot , and I really wanna play God of war 2 since i didnt have a ps2 (dont tell me to buy a ps2 , god of war 1 seems to be non existent by now) , WHAT SHALL I BUY??? I DONT WANNA SPEND 700 ON A NEW CONSOLE !!!!!!!

Yep i recon PS3 will be $499 then or possibly even $479 -> same price 360 is at the moment

youre spending $100 on a HDMI cable? does that come with a hooker? $10-$15 for HDMI cables, dont spend more. if you dont want either, dont buy either, no one is forcing you, just wait till price drops, and christmas hype, and the games to come out after christmas, then get what you want, jebus.

who did you hear this from? how does a digital cable cause ghosting? it wouldnt even be possible for a cable to cause that

I purchased a $2 HDMI cable from Amazon.com and it looks just as good as my buddies Monster HDMI cable. So no worries there. Also, it seems that you're not really interested in Halo or Gears of War since those weren't mentioned. Assassin's Creed and COD4 are both multiplat games so no problems there.

If you truly want a PS3 and not a 360 then I'd recommend waiting it out until October and see what takes place.

EDIT :: Also forgot to mention that Heavenly Sword seems to have gameplay similar to God of War and that's another PS3 exclusive that you'd definately enjoy if you like the God of War games.

You should get the 360 now and game for a year and then sell it back for $200 by the end of the year for money to get a PS3. mikeslemonade

uhhhh a hdmi cable cost like 10-15 dollars dude. monoprice.com. it doesnt matter if you get a ps3 or 360, they are both excellent systems.

i say it depends on ur taste. PS3 has more features but 360 is cheaper. 360 mostly has shooting, racing and sports games but if u want more choices than shooters and sports or racing than get a PS3.namcoman67

360 does have more shooters, but the PS3 is getting it's fair share of shooters as well. Sports are all around so its more shooter and racers on the 360.

First of all you can buy a new 60gb on ebay for $550, second how would hdmi cord cost $100.00 you can get a very good one for $30.00, and the 360 doesn't just break a lot 99.9% of them have problems. I had a 360 and I could name 8 differnt things I hated about it, I wont go into them now. Anyways I owned a 360 first but ever since I got my PS3 I haven't played my 360 once so I sold it. BTW the PS3 has much more games to look forward to. I played warhawk and it is my new favorite game its is soooooo adicting, plus socom, heavenly sword, uncharted, lair? GTA although one of my favorite series is the least of the games I am looking foward to.
