HELP!!! my ps3 is dead! :'(

it wont read disks and sometimes the disks get stuck inside.

after about half an hour of trying it read mgs4 but it made a sound that sounded liike a motorboat.

Has this happened to anyone?

any solutions?

mgs4 killed my 60gb launch ps3

tha 40 gb one works 4 mgs4 though

Hasnt killed my launch ps3 and its all ive been playing since it came out. I must be a lucky one then or maybe I should just quit while its still working heh. But I did have to re-sync all of my controllers last night while playing.Hyde006

Sounds like that blu-laser is fried. The solution is to send it to Sony to fix it.
