ok so i have got a wireess modem and a usb modem ( connects to usb of comp ) but is there anyway of connecting the PS3 directly into a telephone line socket? i have adapters that fit into those sockets but the Ethernet cable does not fit into the adapter. i was thinking if i disconnect the modem that i use on the computer when i want to use the internet on the PS3 then it will work fine because i dont want to have to move the wireless modem to the PS3. How have you guys managed to connect to the internet help needed.

Thanks.

The easiest solution to your problem would be to go out and buy a wireless router. That way, you can have both your computer and PS3 connected to the internet at the same time. I think that for the most part, this is what PS3 owners are doing for their online gaming fix. This is the type of setup that I myself have as well. Pretty easy to setup too. You should be able to find a half-way decent wireless G router at your local electronics store for around $50.00.
