help with using the playstation memory card adaptor?

well i bought the adaptor yesterday and since i have not been able to get my playstation 3 to read the data off of any of my old memory cards?

any advise?

If your PS2 cards are unlicensed third- party cards such as the ones from MadCatz or Intec it won't work. The adapter will only work with actual Sony cards.lyndonAPI
