Helo people.. I badly nidda help here..I bought my PS3 in malaysia.. Ze fing is tat i read ze customer suprt of my PS3 concernin tat region restriction n found tat it suports games wiz ze symbol globe wiz a "3" n globe wiz "ALL".. Bt wen i checked wiz my GTA 4 game i found tat it has ze symbol but wiz "2" but still works on my PS3.. Its realy confusin koz i realy nid 2 knw which games my PS will suport koz i live in Mauritius n here we get games from diferent countries.. N ze sellers here r also not well aware of ze matter.. sme tell me zere game r for zone 3 others for europe others tat zey bought it frm dubai or china.. I just dont get it... Can smeone help me here plz??!!
As far as I know games don't have region codes. Your PS3 will play any and everyone of them. The thing with the globes has something to do with the online play I guess. So there should not be any problems playing them. However I read somewhere that some countries have different versions of the game depending on the cencorship policies of the mentioned country.
