2 days ago I sent Gamespot an email asking why they don't have a PSN ID section like they do for Xbox. I wrote:
"It has become a growing issue with the Playstation 3 community that GameSpot has neglected to supply us Playstation 3 owners with an ID Name area like you do with the Xbox Live Gamertag. I am just emailing to inquire why you don't do this for the PS3s?"
Today they replied:
"This question would be better suited for Sony. We added the Xbox 360 gamertag support to the site because Microsoft offers a specific type of image that can be hosted off of the site. Sony doesn't do anything like this for the PlayStation 3, so all we would be able to add is your PlayStation 3 account name. If you want to display that name, we recommend you use the "About Me" field of your profile. If Sony were to provide a more interesting graphical representation of your account (with the games you're playing, and so on), we would definitely add it to GameSpot's profile pages."
Theres your answer, so stop complaining to GameSpot about it and complain to Sony.
