Hidden gem that needs a sequel

Which game do you think NEEDS a sequel, from the current generation? Like, a really cool game that no one really cared about and you'd really like to see more of it, but you probably won't?

I vote for Dark Sector. That game had some of the best gunplay ever, and it really needs a sequel to clarify the story and improve on its flaws.

I'm waiting for ten years now but Legend of Dragoon 2 or Legend of Dragoon: The Dragon Wars are still not announced. I'm a sad lizard.

In the current gen there weren't any games that I totally absolutely want a sequel for.

The Darkness, easily the most underrated game of this gen.

i'd definitely like to see a sequel to Valkyria chronicles on the PS3. I'd even like if it were just a spiritual sequel in that it used the same gameplay and art style in a different setting with a different cast of characters. other than that... Demon's Souls.TheEldestGod

Valkyria Chronicles and Resonance of Fate.

RoF was awesome, but could still stand to see some improvements. Hopefully we'll get a chance to see it happen.

I know its last gen but when Suckerpunch is done with Infamous2 I would really like Sly to see some love this gen...BonoBoy

Yes, both Mirror's Edge 2 and Hitman 5 have been announced/are in development. No word on a new Tenchu yet, which is disappointing as I think that is one of the few series that never quite lived up to it's potential.

Most sequels I'd like see are games from last gen/further back that I want. Crash Bandicoot PS3, or a new Sly Cooper, Sega could bring back Vectorman, a current gen Onimusha could be interesting. Etc.

I know it was last gen but I really want a sequel to metal arms glitch in the system.

Yeh it fell through due to differences with EA. Body count is being developed by codemasters and it has alot of the developers from black working on it.

I guess in a way it could be a kind of unofficial sequal but as long as its as good i dont care.
