Hideo Kojima...i never thought it would be YOU i was upset with...

ok we all know the hype for this game is insane...hideo knew that bringing out a MGO beta would make people go nuts...i reserved a copy of MGS4 Nov, 17th 2007...i find out a couple months later about the MGO beta and that if you pre ordered u get to take part and u get a free DVD and that EB will call me...the EB games i pre ordered at only got 2 beta keys! 2!! i know i know staff prolly took some for themselves but...with the 5 eb games i called there was only 11 keys to go around...kojima...why? u knew this would create hype...you knew just like me and everyone else if u made it a limited beta test...(meaning not open) then there would be a rush for the keys...thats fine...but why make me travel all over the city looking in blockbusters future shops eb games small game shops only not to find one....thats fine...i can swallow that np...the thing that really burns me is that its open in EU...! :O hideo! DUDE! thats not cool...seriouslly...i pre ordered this months ago...limited edition too...after finding out that being a fan and owner of all his games for the past 14-16 years i dont get to take part in this beta test...yet people in EU who never even heard of MGS and dont plan on buying the game get to try it out...it stinks man...i dont mind it being a hard beta test to get into..but if ur gonna make it a pain for some people to get it...and others dont even need it...thats messed up man...i cancled my pre order kojima...not because i dont want the game...not because im mad i cant take part..just because u were the only game dev i figured would never screw the fans...im a fan of over 14 years...every game...i tried very hard to get into the beta....and people in EU get it for nothing...i know this sounds like crying to most people....its not...or at least i didnt mean for it to be...i just wanted to express how disappointed with hideo i am...i will still buy ur game hideo...but when i can find a used copy...unreal man...never thought i wouldnt be buying a mgs game on its release date :(

The fanbase is already big in the US, so makeing an open betta for Erupe makes sense, where the fanbas isn't as big. And its your fault you didn't get the codes, you should hav chcked up on them as soon as you hered there would be a beta.

I dont se why there is anything to cry about, just wait a few more months and you could be playing the actual game.

europeans have been treated like this since the launch of the ps3. now for the first time in the history of the ps3 the americans dont get something that eu do.

come on dont be such a baby. how often do you see europeans giving out like this? you have it too good in america, when something slightly bad happens ye go mad about it. so what its just a beta the game is out in 2 months you can wait.

i love the mgs games but i wouldnt be all that bothered if i missed the beta. i would be just as happy to see a fully finished bug free game instead of a buggy sample, but since its free and easy to get i may aswell try it

Agree. I mean why is the tc crying over not being in the beta when the started pack comes with MGS4 in june? Also, how is it kojima's fault? HA! You should've stepped up for the pre-order asap.

How you meant to test out the problems of a game when there is a handful of problems in just installing and registering for the beta in the first place?
