well I know this isn't system wars but I want to ask this to Sony owners like me. here's the question, If Playstation 2 was successful but just enough to have the dreamcast stay in the console battle, would SEGA have released another system and how would this affect Nintendo and Microsoft? I know this isn't format wars but I want to hear answers from PS3 owners, don't lock topic. This isn't insulting anyone.

well....sega games have kind of merged into the nintendo and sony consoles, so... that ship has kind of sailed... Sonic games (possibly sega's most well-known character) is in games for other consoles...so now its too late for a sega console...and even if it were to come out next week, I doubt it would do well...
Ya it is but do you think it would be possible if a corporation was to fall, let's say Nintendo in exagerration. Would SEGA take that chance to come in and try to win some kudos. It's tough due to there money probs but let's say they picked up off those issues, would it be possible or to just merge into the victor corporation.
