how can little big planet be delayed?

i just got an email from game.co.uk telling me my preorder is delayed, it makes no sense the game is completed and has already been released in some parts of the us. what exactly is the need for them to delay the game a few weeks more its a waste of time having the games just sitting there in stores not being bought.

thta is the most confusing delay ever some people are getting the game weeks in advance and now were getting a delay of a few weeks.

check out the thread below this about it being delayed. Apparently one of the songs on the soundtrack has lyrics that could possibly be offensive to a certain religion.

If they delay the game, it won't just sit in the back rooms of stores, it's likely that they'll destroy all the "offending" copies of the game and produce a clean, religion-offensive-less version within a couple of weeks.

Still, it's unfortunate that it looks like the UK is getting shafted once again on a game release.

i hate whats become of the world these days. we cant even have christmas because its offensive to other religions. any idea what the song was or why it was offensive?

well im not bothered now i just canceled my preorder and bought a copy on ebay for £5 cheaper so im delighted now ill be getting the game sooner than i expected before

Uhh, Christmas has been cancelled? News to me.

wasnt planning on buying this game straight away anyway... however, what a shame for all those that have preordered. Europe always gets the dirty end of the stick when it comes to... well, anything. We get the games last, we pay more, we get less features, less tech support. hell, some games don't even get released here.

This is defintely bad especially if they have to destroy the copies.

Couldn't they just get rid of the song via a patch or update?...er, or downgrade?
