PS3 Games - Can range up to 30GB, but games usually only use about 9-10GB.
PSPVita - Max card size is 4GB.
How can they port a PS3 game over? They'll need to shrink the games to more then half their size and I'm not even sure if its possible.

I agree with you, but at least they plan to introduce larger sizes as they go along. And keep in mind, the UMD's 1.8GB of storage was plenty for games like Peace Walker, etc. Of course, newer games will use larger textures and higher-res videos, but I think they can find various ways to shrink the data at first, and by the time bigger games(RPGs and the like) come along, we should have 8GB and 16GB cartridges to store them. Uncompressed audio isn't as common as you might expect. Metal Gear Solid IV made the concept famous, but only a precious few Sony-published games have used it since or before then. If you've ever played the first Assassin's Creed, you hear the difference. That game has awful sound compression for the voice acting.first off no uncompressed audio...that is a HUGGGGEE amount of data...and i think its retarded they are only making 4gb cards to begin with...no clue why they would do that...

This is what Wiki says. "Software for the PlayStation Vita will be distributed on Vita Cards, a new proprietary flash card format, rather than on Universal Media Discs (UMDs) used by the original PlayStation Portable. Vita game cards will be available in 2GB and 4GB sizes. 5-10% of the writeable space will be reserved for save data, patches, etc. Higher-capacity game cards are planned to be made available for future releases."
this plus uncompressed audio, toned down resolution, removal of multiplayer and downloadable content. The list goes on and onThis is what Wiki says.
