They should have another sensor in the analog add-on so the PS Eye can triangulate the PS Move and have it control better. Once they fix the floaty crosshair then they can port games from Steam that works well with a mouse (puzzle games like World of Goo, or Point and click games like Machinarium).
The glove with LEDs on the finger tips wouldn't work. The Move doesn't work from the light of the bulb alone, there is a sensor on the inside of the bulb too that you could not put in the fingertips of a glove. MC-ReapWho is to say that a sensor within the bulb can't be built into the glove? I ride motorcycles, and they sure can fit a LOT of armor and what not into gloves.
Good question man. I have thought this before. I have only ever looked at the Move in one single light. It is Wii HD. It is Wii HD with games that are of interest to the Playstation faithful and it does it well. Maybe even a bit better as far as accuracy and immersion go. However, what you have seen so far with the Wii is what we have gotten on the PS3. Sure we have R3 and KZ3, but the Wii did that in 06 with COD 3.We just have a prettier, tighter FPS. Unfortunately for me even after many hours with the sharpshooter, I will always perform better with my Dual Shock 3, my couch and my beer.
I would love to think of a brilliant idea that would really make me excited to bust out my move, but right now I am clueless. I have a PS3 and a Wii and at the moment, the Kinect for the Xbox has the most potential for innovation. If it comes standard with the next xbox generation and there are games I actually want to play, then I believe I will have a Microsoft console right next to my beloved PS3/PS4 and Wii-U. As of now though Kinect does not impress me much either. All I know is that it can do alot more than dance games and I would like to see what that entails.
Sorry to get off topic a little. As of right now though, the only thing that will keep me using my move somewhat consistently is if they keep bringing my favorite video game vice to the PS3. Arcade light gun shooters. We already have Dead Space: Extraction, Time Crisis: Razing Storm, HOTD: Overkill, and the RE: Umbrella and Darkside Chronicles coming soon. IMO, they should just release these games via PSN for like ten bucks or so and hopefully inspire badass HD remakes of all the arcade shooters from back in the day. I mean there are literally 100+ light gun shooters out there and I am a sucker for most of them. If you would give me an HD Carnevil, Ghost Squad, a proper release of House of the Dead 1-4 collection HD (I would scream like a schoolgirl for this), Time Crisis 1-4, Lethal Enforcers 1&2, Alien: Resurrection, and if I had more time I would keep going and going.
Now this is not very innovative thinking, but hey at least we would get proper use of our Move investment. I mean to be honest the only real fun I have had with the Move is Dead Space: Extraction and Sports Champions. Neither of those were revolutionary, but they were done right. I know there are lots of people out there that would kill for their favorite light gun games to be released with the usual fixings. (HD, trophies, leaderboards, and if they could, online MP.)
