Ive heard you can start an account on your PS3 in other countries to view their playstation store and buy things from their shop that arn't available in the PAL region, is this true and if so how is it done, i can't work it out. thanks
On the far left of XMB choose new user. In Account Sign Up choose Hong Kong as your country (you can choose English if you choose Hong Kong). As far as address goes I just said 123 Main St. Choose User Name and away you go. I also set up a European account by choosing London as my address. Pretty easy. Takes minutes.
what like can you play with people local to the area you pretending to be from? i should think so, im not sure i would like to play online with people with from japan, head set conversations might get beond my understanding pretty fast.
just wondering if anyone has tryed to actualy buy a game on the other stores? Just wondering if the store changes your currancy from Dollars to Yen etc?

As far as Resistance goes you cannot. I wanted to play on the European servers so setup a european account with an actual address and the whole thing - jumped on and heard a good ole Texas boy right of the bat......had to ask and yes he was sitting in Texas so gave up on that attempt. With that said per people on the forum they are going to open up Resistance to worldwide play, but not sure when that will happen.

Wha?!? YOU bought a PS3? YOU? you've been very negative in regards to the PS3 for as long as I can remember and you still got one? wow! I guess that's how a ton of people that bad mouthed the PS3Â are though.
