How does it do it?

How can the PS3 stream a live game feed of Lair to a Psp and you can play it, I know that there are no remote desktop type applications forPC that allow you to play games over the network let alone internet. It's sad that people say sony copies when they have SO many innovative ideas, If more games with the same functionality come out, then it could be a real hit.

Oh look, another usless comment, nothing more than spam... That doesn't surprise me coming from you...

As for Lair on the PSP, I find it quite amazing myself. I've heard information on doing this for something, but it finally happened :) Hopefully PS3 developers will use this feature more often, possibly giving us side missions, etc to complete on the PSP when playing a PS3 game. I've already heard that it will be used for maps later on in different games...makes me want to get a PS3 soon.

Yeah, because so far the only Handheld to console connectivity has been from Nintendo, and it never really was successful, I really hope this remote play thing works well, then I have a good reason to justify me spending 500 dollars on a Ps3 :D

I hope the psp2 has the same controller buttons as the six axis (even motion), so that better games will be compatible with remote play like MGS4. That would own anything nintendo is coming up with.

What would be cool is if we were able to play ps3 games at their full potentialon a psp. No sacrifice on graphics nor on perfomance. All we should ever need is a decent internet connection and good cache size on the PSP's part. The ps3 is what actually PLAYS the game and the psp simply gets a streamed version of what just happened on the PS3 as a response to your control. Its possible and would be amazing if implented correctly be Sony. We could be playing GRAW 2 PS3 quality on the PSP.

It all depends on your network speed if the entire world ran off T1 connections then that would be easy, the only thing holding back the remot play quality is the network speed. The PSP has to be able to stream the data at ithe screensnative resolution and that takes alot of bandwith especially when data is also being sent from the PSP. Thats why the PSP has a quality selection for video streaming the higher your bandwith the higher you can turn up the quality without input delay. It's really just bandwith

Basically what you want is outside of Sony's reach, the technology is their the only thing holding it back is network bandwith. If you have T1 everywhere then that would solve the problem.
